
Flower Garden (one of a kind original)
This piece reminds me of a Dr. Seuss book I owned as a child called Did I Ever Tell You How Lucky You Are? There was a page in that book with a whole row of radishes growing in a farmer's field. A worm was approaching the very last radish, and the text read something like, "Aren't you awfully gladish you're not farmer Falkingham's 33rd radish." I'm completely paraphrasing here. But after I painted this piece that old children's book came to mind.
This piece is part of the Creature Feature series 2009. Watercolor,
charcoal and mixed media, approx 4 1/2" x 4 1/2". Matted and framed in
Ash to approx 11" x 11".
