Green Eyed Tiger (one of a kind original)

This piece was created as part of the 2010 Creature Feature show. This year my series was inspired by my inexplicable love of vintage 1960's graphics in German memory games. This piece was based on a tiger from a 1966-68 memory game. This is a close adaptation of a piece by an unknown graphic designer working in the late '60's. The media is Derwent Aquarelle Watercolor pencils on watercolor paper. These have excellent light fastness.

Matted and framed in Ash. The Ash frame is a natural finish blonde/neutral wood that fits in with many decor.
